About Me

dsc 9353

Hi, I’m Silva. I believe that true strength grows through life experiences, and that every event on our path is not accidental. Here I share thoughts that help us grow, understand, and discover ourselves.

Why “Silvaten”?

Two stories are intertwined in this name. The word Silva means “forest” in Latin, and the last three letters symbolize the beginning of my girl’s name. Therefore, “Silva ten” can be interpreted as “the forest there” – a place where everything begins and returns to itself, where thoughts, insights, and inner strength grow.
The forest holds a special meaning in my life – it is a place for calm, renewal, and stillness, reminding me that growth happens even when no one sees it.
My meditation is walking. With the wind. With nature. With myself. That’s when thoughts clear, and the heart finds words that become texts.

Silvaten – your space to grow, strengthen yourself, and find your way.
Here I share learned lessons, practical experiences, and advice that help you feel confident at work, in life, and during important changes. You will find practical insights about job interviews, CV writing, visibility on job platforms, strengthening self-esteem and other modern challenges that not everyone dares to talk about.
My goal – to help people strengthen themselves, discover themselves and trust their own power in all phases of life.
My biggest and warmest thanks go to my husband Dovydas.

Thank you
Thank you for believing in me, supporting me in every step, understanding my journey and simply being there. Your presence gives strength, inspires growth and courage to reach goals.

My Journey
My journey goes between Lithuania and Norway, between challenges and discoveries, between stillness and words that heal.
Many years ago, I left Lithuania, not just to find a new place to live, but also to get to know myself better.
Life in Norway has taught me simplicity, patience, trust in processes, and respect for people – just as they are. Through working with people, I’ve understood that every story has its meaning, and every encounter its mission.
I have a legal education and many years of experience in counseling, administration, and social work.
But the most important thing these experiences have given me is the ability to see people on a deeper level, beyond questions and answers.
I’m passionate about topics like human worth, strength after crises, self-esteem, relationships, meaningful work, and inner peace.
Life has repeatedly reminded me that nothing happens without reason.
I’ve learned that even stillness speaks, if we know how to listen.

The “Potato” Story
One of my Norwegian leaders once said:
“You are like a potato – flexible, adaptable, and useful everywhere.”
At first, I found the comparison strange, but later I realized it was the most sincere compliment.
Since then, the potato has symbolized simplicity, strength, and the ability to be oneself under all circumstances.
Throughout life, I have learned that strength does not always mean struggle. Sometimes strength means stopping, resting, saying “no” or allowing yourself to be vulnerable.

My world

On this page I share my stories, thoughts and feelings – real, alive, sometimes painful, but always full of light.
I believe that even the smallest word can touch, and silence can heal.
If my words touch your heart, we have already met where true connection begins.

Silvaten
“I believe that every human being has a unique value.
Sometimes we just need a soft conversation to see it.”
